The dBodhi Brawny Carver is the armchair version of the Brawny, with curved armrests on a reclaimed teak frame and a handwoven abaca seat and backrest. It stands 80.5cm high and 56cm deep. Suited to the head of a table, a home office or accent seating.

A carver is the chair at the head of the table, and the curved armrests are what distinguish it from the rest of the set. They give the sitter somewhere to rest, which changes how long a meal can comfortably run.

Buying one or two carvers alongside armless chairs is the traditional arrangement, and it still makes sense practically: the ends of a table have room for arms while the sides usually do not. The same reclaimed teak frame and handwoven abaca appear across the range, so a carver and a set of dining chairs read as belonging together. It also works away from a table entirely, as a desk chair in a home office or as occasional seating in a corner.
