dBodhi Drum Lamp
The dBodhi Drum Lamp is the widest pendant in the range at 80cm across and 51cm deep, with handwoven rattan lines made using a traditional Javanese technique. The shade is sold on its own, without electrical components. Available in two sizes and in charcoal or natural.

The detail behind the silhouette
The weaving technique is what distinguishes this from the other shades. Traditional Javanese methods produce the fine parallel lines that give the Drum its ribbed surface, and that pattern is legible whether the lamp is lit or not, which is unusual for a pendant.
At 80cm across it is a substantial object, so it works as the single light over a large dining table rather than one of several. The organic drum shape softens what could be an imposing scale, and the woven lines break up the surface so it never reads as a solid mass overhead. Lit, the fine gaps in the weave throw a striped pattern outward. Shade only, so the electrical components are arranged separately.
