At 3.60kg this is genuinely portable, which changes how a side table gets used. It follows you around a room, moving from beside a chair to beside a sofa as needed, rather than staying where it was first put.
The woven rattan body is what keeps the weight down while still giving the piece substance to look at. Handwoven using Javanese techniques, the pattern has an irregularity that machine weaving cannot reproduce, and it is visible at the close range a side table is actually seen from. The solid teak top gives you a firm surface where it matters. It also works as a stool or a low decorative stand, which is a fair bit of flexibility for one small piece.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
