Eighty centimetres square is the most broadly useful size in the square range. Large enough to hold a tray, books and a drink at once, small enough to leave walking room in a normal living area, which is the balance most rooms actually need.
Squares behave differently to rectangles in a seating arrangement. Where a rectangle serves a sofa, a square serves a corner or a group of chairs equally from any side, so it suits seating that wraps rather than lines up. The three-leg base keeps it stable on uneven floors and lets it be nudged around without catching. Being handworked from salvaged teak, the relief carving and the timber both differ from piece to piece.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
