A desk chair in a bedroom or a living room has a problem that a desk chair in an office does not: it is in the room all the time, whether or not anyone is working. That is the case for a chair on legs rather than a pedestal and castors, and it is worth being clear about the trade before buying one.
What you get is a chair that looks like furniture and can be pulled up to a table when people come over. What you give up is height adjustment and the ability to swivel and roll.
The caveat follows from that. For a full working day at a screen, an adjustable chair is the right tool and this is not it. For a couple of hours at a desk in a room you also live in, it is.

Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
