Chloe Channel Buffet - Chai
The Chloe Channel Buffet in Chai is 180cm wide, 45cm deep and 80cm high, with doors behind slatted fronts. The channels run vertically across the face and the case curves at the ends, so no handle breaks the front. At 80cm the top is at bench height.

Concealed handles are the point of a channelled front. The doors open on the edge of the slats, which keeps the face unbroken and means nothing at hip height catches a sleeve in a dining room that people walk through carrying plates.
At 45cm deep the interior takes dinner plates flat, which is the real test. At 80cm high the top is level with a kitchen bench, so serving from it does not involve bending.
The caveat is dust. Vertical channels collect it and a cloth skates over the top of the slats without getting into them, so a soft brush is the tool. A flat-fronted buffet is the easier piece to live with.

Dust the slatted fronts with a soft brush rather than a cloth, which snags in the channels. Wipe the case with a barely damp cloth.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
