Oyster is a difficult colour to live with and worth choosing deliberately. A pale neutral shows everything a floor collects, and the two-tone weave here is an advantage rather than a decorative flourish, because a mottled surface hides marks that a solid one displays.
The wool carries the wear and the viscose carries the light. That division is the point of the blend, and it also sets the limits: this is a rug for a bedroom or a formal sitting area, not for a hallway.
A rug is often the largest single object in a room, which makes this colour decision really a wall decision. Oyster reads warm against white paint and distinctly grey against a warm limewash.

Vacuum without a beater bar. Do not wet-clean: the viscose content marks permanently where water has been. Blot spills immediately and use a professional dry cleaner for anything that sets.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
