The Carlo Dining Chair in Desert Sand has a 475mm seat height with a seat 430mm wide and 430mm deep. It is fully upholstered in 100% PU, rated 20,000 on the Martindale scale. The back stands 370mm above the seat.

Desert sand is the safe choice and there is nothing wrong with that. A warm pale neutral disappears into a room and lets the table, the light and whatever is on the wall do the work, which is often exactly what a dining setting needs.

The practical caution with a pale polyurethane seat is marking rather than wear. The surface wipes clean easily, which is the advantage, but a pale finish will show a scuff or dye transferred from denim more readily than a dark one. At a 20,000 abrasion rating this is a dining room chair, not a kitchen bench stool. The 430mm square seat is generous enough to be comfortable without the chair claiming more table edge than it needs.
