The Benjamin Ripple Marble Round Bedside in Natural is 56cm wide, 47cm deep and 59cm high, with a marble top over a rippled base. At 59cm it is taller than most bedsides, so the top clears a high mattress. The round top has no corner to catch a hip in the dark.

Bedside height is the measurement people regret. Mattresses have grown deeper over the last twenty years and most bedsides have not, so a 50cm table beside a 60cm bed puts the lamp and the water below the mattress line. At 59cm this one is built for a current bed.

A round top is the other quiet improvement. A bedside is the piece of furniture you walk into at night, and a curve at hip height is a great deal more forgiving than a corner.
