The Benjamin Ripple Grand Desk in Matt Black is 200cm wide, 70cm deep and 76cm high, on pillars with a rippled surface. The ripple is cut into the base rather than applied to it, so it catches light along the length. At 200cm it is a desk for two screens and a clear area to write.

Two hundred centimetres is the width at which a desk stops being a compromise. The screen, the keyboard and an open notebook all fit at once, and there is still somewhere to put a cup that is not next to the keyboard.
At 70cm deep the screen sits far enough back to be read without leaning, and at 76cm high it takes a standard desk chair. The pillars are set in from the ends, so the legroom is genuinely the full width rather than the gap between two legs.
The caveat is that there is no storage at all. That is deliberate on a desk this size, since a drawer under a 200cm top is a place things go to be forgotten, but it means a separate drawer unit or shelves are part of the plan rather than an afterthought.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Use coasters and placemats to protect the surface from spills and heat. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve the natural finish.

Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
