Putty is the quietest of the three finishes, and that suits a console more than it might suit other furniture. A hallway piece is usually seen in passing rather than studied, so a soft neutral lets the ripple texture register without the whole thing demanding attention.
The construction is more substantial than the veneer-only versions, combining solid oak with ash veneer and MDF, which is where the 41kg weight comes from. That weight is worth planning for on delivery. It also carries a higher 35kg maximum load than the black version, so it takes heavier objects on top. A PU sealer protects the finish against the knocks a hallway piece inevitably takes. Fully assembled, so it is ready to place.
