A black bedside is a decisive choice in a room that is usually soft. Against pale bedding and a light wall it becomes a deliberate dark punctuation rather than a piece of furniture blending in, and the ripple motif is what keeps that from being a plain black box.
Texture is the reason this works where a flat black would not. The ripple catches whatever light is in the room, usually a single lamp, and gives the surface something to do at the exact moment you see it most, which is at night. Two drawers rather than one means you can separate what you want to hand from what you want out of sight. At 55cm high it sits above a standard mattress line, so the top stays reachable from lying down.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
