Ava Travertine Table Lamp
This table lamp is 50cm on every side, with a natural travertine base and a natural linen shade. It weighs 6.7kg and takes an E27 globe up to 40W at 240V. Each base carries its own markings, because travertine is a natural stone.

Travertine is a sedimentary stone with natural voids running through it, so the base will show open pits and tonal banding that vary from piece to piece. That is the material behaving normally, and it is why a stone base reads differently from a moulded one at close range.
At 6.7kg this is a substantial object for a bedside table, and the weight is doing a job: a 50cm shade catches a knock easily and the stone keeps the lamp upright.
Stone and linen is the most forgiving pairing available in a lamp. Both are neutral, both are textured, and neither dates, which matters on a piece that will outlast several changes of scheme.

Dust the stone with a dry cloth and avoid standing liquid on it, since travertine is porous. Brush the shade rather than wiping it.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
