Bone is a warm white rather than a pure one, and that matters on a floor. A cool white rug against a warm timber floor reads as grey and slightly dirty; a warm white sits into the timber and stays looking light.
The range runs wide enough that the rug can be specified to the room rather than the room arranged around the rug. Measure the furniture footprint first and choose the size that covers it, not the size that fits the floor.
A pale looped wool is more forgiving than it sounds. The loops scatter light in every direction, so a mark on the surface has no flat plane to sit against and is far less visible than it would be on a cut pile of the same colour.

Vacuum with suction only. Blot spills immediately, since a pale wool holds a tannin mark if it is left. Professional cleaning rather than wet-washing, and rotate the rug so light exposure evens out.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
