The Aubury is the shallower of the two daybed shapes here at 80cm, and that suits a narrower room. It will fit along a wall in a bedroom where a deeper piece would push into the walking route, and it still takes a full-length lie-down because the length is what governs that, not the depth.

A mushroom neutral is also the easiest colourway to introduce into a room that is already finished. It borrows warmth from whatever is around it, so it will read slightly pink beside a terracotta rug and slightly grey beside a cool wall, which means it rarely fights anything.
