Marble consoles are usually marble on metal, and the join is where they look cheap. Slab legs in the same stone avoid that, and the trade is weight. This is heavy, it wants to be positioned once, and the floor under it matters.
At 40cm deep it is a console rather than a sideboard. That is enough for a lamp, a tray and keys, and not enough for anything you were hoping to store, since there are no drawers.
The honest caveat is the stone itself. Veining runs differently through every piece, so the one that arrives will not match the photograph exactly. That is the nature of it, and it is worth knowing before it is unwrapped rather than after.

Marble is porous even when sealed. Wipe spills straight away, particularly anything acidic, and use a stone-safe cleaner rather than a general spray. Veining and colour vary between pieces.

Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
