A woven mat behaves differently to a flat textile one. The texture is structural rather than printed, so it catches light across the surface and gives a table setting something tactile before anyone picks up a fork.
That texture is also why the care is different. Rather than machine washing, these want a shake-out and spot cleaning, which is less convenient but keeps the weave from distorting. The natural undyed tone sits with essentially any tableware, which makes it the most flexible of the placemat options. It leans rustic, though against plain white china it reads more contemporary than you might expect. Handwoven, so slight irregularities in the weave are inherent to the making.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
