Artie Open Bedside - Tobacco Ash
The Artie Open Bedside in Tobacco Ash is 55cm wide, 45cm deep and 50cm high, with one drawer above an open shelf. The shelf is left open rather than closed with a second drawer, so a book goes in and out without a handle. At 50cm high it sits near mattress height on most beds.

Bedside height is worth measuring rather than guessing. You want the top level with the top of the mattress or slightly above it, so a glass of water is reachable lying down rather than by sitting up. At 50cm this suits a standard bed base with a standard mattress and will be low against a tall one.
The open shelf is the useful part. A drawer is for the things you want hidden and a shelf is for the book you are actually reading, and one of each is more practical than two drawers.
The caveat is that an open shelf is visible. It stays tidy only if you keep it to one or two things, so this is the wrong bedside if the pile beside your bed is a pile.

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Use coasters and placemats to protect the surface from spills and heat. Keep out of direct sunlight to preserve the natural finish.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
