The Artie Open Bedside in Chai is ash veneer and MDF under a PU sealer, with one drawer and one open shelf. The case stands 349mm on legs of 150mm, with 311mm of internal storage space. It measures 55cm wide, 45cm deep and 50cm high.

Chai is a warm mid-brown with a red note in it, closer to a spiced tone than to a plain timber stain. It sits well beside linen and against a white wall, and it is dark enough that the everyday marks a bedside collects will not announce themselves.
A PU sealer rather than a water-based one is the more robust finish for a surface that takes a glass of water most nights. The open shelf underneath the drawer is the part that gets used hardest, since it is where the book and the phone end up, and having it open rather than behind a door is the difference between using it and forgetting it. Rounded pillar legs keep the case from sitting heavy on the floor.

White glove delivery
Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
