The Artie Kick Side Table in Brick is a red-brown ash veneer top on a single flared leg. It stands 46cm high with a 40cm top, 50mm thick and overhanging the leg by 85mm. PU sealer protects the veneer beneath.

Brick is the version that stops pretending to be a neutral. A red-brown timber tone will find and amplify anything terracotta, leather or rug-based already in the room, and it will sit awkwardly in a scheme built on cool greys. Choose it because you want it.

On a piece this small that is a manageable risk. The whole table is 40cm across, so the colour is a full stop rather than a paragraph, and the tapered form gives the tone a curved surface to graduate across. At 400mm to the underside it slides beside a chair rather than in front of it, which is where a table this size belongs.
