The detail behind the silhouette
An oval at 120 by 65 is a narrow footprint for its length, which is exactly what a long sofa wants. A square coffee table in front of a three-seater leaves dead space at both ends; an oval follows the seating and keeps the walkway clear at the corners.
Solid marble legs rather than a metal or timber base is the unusual part, and the 58kg tells you what that means in practice. This is a two-person lift and it is not a table you will move to vacuum under. What you get is a piece with no material join anywhere in it, so the veining runs through the legs as well as the top and every table is patterned differently. The square edge on the top is a crisper profile than a bullnose, which suits the geometry of the oval.
