A triangular top is a genuinely useful shape in a room that is not rectangular. Where a square coffee table forces a symmetrical seating arrangement, a soft triangle works with an L-shaped sofa and a chair set at an angle, and it gives you a point to walk around rather than a corner to knock.
Fifteen millimetres is a thin top for solid stone, which is what keeps the table from looking heavy despite the material, and the offset legs continue that: they sit inside the outline rather than at the points, so the top appears to float. At 310mm the clearance is low, so this is a table for a deep sofa. Water-based sealer on natural marble means wiping spills promptly rather than trusting the finish to hold them.
