The right arm is the mirror of the left, called facing the sofa from the front. Most Alison arrangements use one of each with centres between them, though a run against a wall may only need one.

Leather and the room's light are worth thinking about together. Pecan reads warmer in afternoon light and flatter under a north window, and because the finish is porous it will keep shifting over the years rather than staying put.
