At 39cm this is the size where a planter stops being an accessory and starts doing structural work in a garden. It will hold a small tree or a large architectural plant, which means it can anchor a corner or mark a threshold rather than merely decorating one.
The weight that comes with fired ceramic at this diameter is worth planning for. Once filled with soil this is not a pot that gets repositioned on a whim, so decide the spot before planting, and check the load if it is going on a balcony.
Grey ceramic is also the most forgiving backdrop for mixed planting. Where a coloured pot forces a palette, a neutral one lets flowering and foliage plants be swapped seasonally without the vessel ever looking wrong.

Our two-person team carries your piece into the room of your choice, unpacks it, assembles it where needed and takes the packaging away.
Delivery price: one price per order, set by the largest service in it. Furniture and rugs come white glove, metro from $199, regional from $349. Mirrors, art and large decor or lighting come by room delivery, from $149: two people place them in your room, without hanging or installation. Lighting ships by courier from $49. Smaller decor ships by courier from $25, usually free on decor orders over $350. Some remote areas are quoted after you order.
In-stock pieces usually arrive in 2 to 4 weeks. Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces can take up to 12 to 16 weeks. We'll confirm your timing and call to book your delivery.
Restricted access: stairs, tight corners, a long carry from the truck or no parking nearby add $79. Lifts are fine.
