The Claudelle Pot is 40cm high and 40cm across, handmade from polystone with a smooth minimalist finish. A drainage hole is included. It is suitable for indoor or outdoor positions.

A smooth polystone surface is the hardest finish to bring off at this scale, because there is no texture to disguise a variation in the mould or the hand-finishing. That is also why each piece differs slightly, and why a pot like this rewards being looked at closely rather than only from the doorway.

At 40cm high and equally wide it is a genuine floor pot. Something with height and structure suits the proportions, since anything low will disappear behind the rim from a seated position.

The drainage hole makes it a planter rather than a cover, which is the more useful thing outdoors. Rain has somewhere to go, and a plant can be potted in permanently rather than swapped seasonally.
