Promotional Terms and Conditions: The Winter Edit

Effective: 5th August – 30th August 2026

Location: Biku Living & Design – Southport, QLD

1. The Offer & Tiered Discounts

From Wednesday, 5 August 2026 to Sunday, 30 August 2026, Biku Living & Design is running The Winter Edit promotion. Discounts are applied across the following tiers:

  • 40% Discount (Selected Items): Applies strictly to designated showroom floor stock and selected items as ticketed or marked in-store and online.
  • 30% Discount: Applies to all Decor, Mirrors, Artwork, Rugs, and Lighting (Pendants & Lamps).
  • 20% Discount: Applies to all Furniture across the showroom floor and online store, except where excluded below.

2. Delivery & Freight Parameters

  • Promotional Discount Items: Local delivery fees are external to promotional pricing and are not included in the discounted product price. Delivery fees will be calculated and added directly to the invoice at the point of sale where local delivery services are requested.

3. Exclusions & Limitations

To protect our design partnerships and local manufacturing standards, the following categories, brands, and services are strictly excluded from all promotional discounts (20%, 30%, and 40% tiers):

  • Service Limitation: This promotion applies to standard showroom and online retail sales only. It does not extend to items sourced, specified, or purchased through our Interior Design Service.
  • Excluded Categories & Brands: Original Artwork is excluded. All products from Ethnicraft, Tolv, Sketch, Natadora are strictly excluded.
  • Display Definitions: Floor stock refers to full-sized display items only. Rug samples, fabric swatches, and design references do not qualify for promotional pricing.
  • Order Types: Custom orders, trade/contract pricing, and historical orders or lay-bys placed prior to 5 August 2026.

4. Price Protection Policy

If you purchased an eligible full-priced item within the 7 days prior to the start of this sale (29 July 2026 – 4 August 2026), you are eligible for a Store Credit for the price difference.

  • Original Purchase Date: Eligibility is strictly based on the original date of purchase.
  • Exchanges: Items exchanged or swapped during the 7-day lead-up for purchases made prior to 29 July are not eligible for price protection.
  • Claim Period: To claim your credit, you must notify the showroom within the first week of the promotion. The final date to lodge a claim for this round is 12 August 2026.

5. Consumer Guarantees & Business Rights

  • ACL Compliance: Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement for faulty items or major failures.
  • Change of Mind: Under the ACL, Biku Living & Design is not required to provide a refund or replacement for "change of mind" on sale or display items.
  • Errors & Corrections: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any sale in the event of pricing, labelling, or system errors.
  • Promotion Withdrawal: We reserve the right to amend, alter, or withdraw this promotion at any time without notice.

6. Payment Conditions

  • Eligible Methods: Valid for Cash, EFTPOS, Major Credit/Debit Cards, Afterpay, or Zip Pay.
  • Ineligible Methods: Payments made using Zip Money or Humm are strictly ineligible for promotional pricing.
