The Astra Terrazzo Dining Table is 120cm in diameter and 76cm high, cast in solid cement with fragments of onyx, marble and natural stone. The surface is polished and sealed for indoor or outdoor use. It seats four.

Terrazzo made with onyx and marble rather than plain aggregate is a different material from the terrazzo in a shopping centre floor. The fragments are translucent at the edges where the polish cuts through them, so the surface has depth rather than pattern, and it changes appreciably as the light moves across it through a day.

A round table at 120cm is the sociable size and the most space-efficient one. Four people at a circle are all equidistant, which a rectangle cannot manage, and a round table has no corners to walk around, so it suits a room that is tighter than the table's diameter suggests.
